Northern Valley Regional High School District is pleased to announce that both of its high schools, Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest and Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan, have been recognized as Apple Distinguished Schools for 2022–2025. This designation reflects both high schools’ innovative and highly effective uses of technology to promote meaningful learning and student engagement.
Apple Distinguished Schools are centers of innovation, leadership, and educational excellence. They use Apple technology to inspire creativity, collaboration and critical thinking in learning, teaching and the school environment, and have documented results of academic accomplishment.
The selection of both NVRHS high schools as Apple Distinguished Schools highlights our success as an innovative district and a compelling learning environment that engages students, and provides tangible evidence of academic achievement. In recent months, faculty have begun adopting iPad devices for enhanced hybrid and online learning practices, including wireless whiteboarding in the classroom. All NVRHS students and faculty are equipped with MacBook Air laptops where they are constantly creating dynamic multimedia content, connecting with experts throughout the globe, and honing the skills necessary to be truly successful in tomorrow’s world.
