Congratulations to the NVOT Indoor Percussion Ensemble on their first ever US Bands competition. This new competitive ensemble performed at Fair Lawn High School and earned a score of 76.35. The group looks forward to finishing out their season at US Bands Championships.

Congrats to the NV Winter Guard for their performance at WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio. The guard competed in the Independent A class for the first time at championships and scored an 80.68 with their best show to date. #NVpride

First team all county and Girls Coach of the year


Bill Paris, NVOT teacher of Japanese and Tech Mentor, has been officially welcomed into the Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) Class of 2026, joining a global cohort of 399 educators from 32 countries. Established in 1995, the ADE program recognizes innovation in teaching with Apple technology, and includes more than 2,000 educators worldwide. He is one of seven new ADE in New Jersey, and the second Northern Valley educator to earn this distinction after Marc Cicchino, ADE Class of 2023. This is a momentous occasion, as Apple not only celebrates its 30th year of ADE, but also the company’s 50th Anniversary!

Congrats to Christopher Kim, trumpet, and Gyubeen Noh, flute, on being accepted into the NJ All State Band. They performed at the Atlantic City Convention Center, and Christopher earned first chair trumpet in the state. Outstanding achievement! #NVOTpride
